Last July, Mr Johnsons 12 year old car died on Californias Santa Ana Freeway. It was an hour before the sun went down, and he was 25 miles from home. He couldnt reach anyone to pick him up, so he decided to take a bus. Not knowing the routes(路线), he thought hed just head east. I just cant leave you here, she said. This isnt the nicest place. Ill give you a ride home.
